Texas Junior Brahmas Win Game Two

After a crushing shoot out loss the previous night, Rampage fans who had travelled to Texas for the games were disappointed with a game opening goal by the Junior Brahmas.   Fortunately Joseph Panariello, who was Tulsa’s star the previous night, was able to score a power play goal to end the first period with a tie.

The second period was reminiscent of the first as the Junior Brahmas came out with the opening goal.  Tulsa fan’s were rejuvenated as Bobby Watson broke out of the pack to score a shorthanded goal on the Junior Brahmas power play.  Once again, the teams left the ice with even marks on the board at the end of the frame.

The third period was  all Texas as the Tulsa team remained sluggish from start to finish.  Goaltender Eric Messer did all he could to stand up to the constant pressure, facing a total of 50 shots by games end.  In spite of a 92.6% save rate, a disappointed Messer lined up with his team to shake hands with the victorious Brahmas whose 4-2 win secured a sweep on the weekend.
